MUSICIANS
Riddle’s instruments include guitar, flute, hammered dulcimer, celtic harp, psaltery, violin and bodhran, just for starters! Our diverse repertoire includes lively reels and jigs, international folk music, ballads, Americana songs, traditional and classical tunes, original pieces, hymns, and children’s songs.
Patti Black Patti played guitar as a teen but always wanted to learn other instruments. When her husband surprised her with a hammered dulcimer for Christmas in 2000, Patti decided he was establishing a tradition to be continued. She now looks for a new musical "toy" under the tree each year. A retired attorney, Patti enjoys living next door to Jean, whose arm is easily twisted to make time for musical "sanity breaks." |

Barbara Compter
When Barbara filled in as a guitarist in the summer of 2001, we knew at once she needed to stay! Self-taught on guitar, Barbara began playing 6-string guitar when she was 14 years old. She also plays 12-string guitar and various percussion instruments. Barbara loves to sing, so she also enjoys doing vocals with the group. Barbara's husband, Larry, often helps out as sound man for the group. |
Jean Wibbens Jean's love for the recorder grew into a desire for more range and variety. She fell in love with the silver flute, then added Irish flute, pennywhistle and a variety of other recorders as well. Jean also dabbles with a few traditional stringed instruments. Now that Jean's two children have almost moved out of the house, she finds more time for teaching, exhibiting and shooting fine art photography. Jean lives on the Goode Shepherd Farm with her husband and an assortment of animals. Check out her photos at jeanwibbensphotography.com |
